Castrol SAE 90 GL-4 Gear Oil — 1 Lts
Castrol SAE 90 Gear Oil is a heavy-duty mineral gear lubricant meeting API GL-4 specification, designed for manual gearboxes, transaxles, and differentials in cars, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles.
Viscosity & Temperature: Unlike engine oils, gear oil viscosity is rated at 100°C operating temperature rather than cold-flow. SAE 90 maintains a heavy, stable lubricating film across normal gearbox operating temperatures of 60°C–120°C — preventing gear-tooth scuffing, scoring, and wear under high-load meshing. The thick SAE 90 film also dampens gear noise and extends transmission life significantly.
Pack size: 1 Lts. API GL-4 specification ensures compatibility with synchromesh gearboxes. Change every 40,000–60,000 km or as per vehicle manufacturer's recommendation.
